Summer is fast approaching, can you hear the kids exclaim with glee and the parents inwardly groan?  Before you send the kids off to summer camp or schedule another pool party or playdate, consider a more magical and unconventional activity, a fairy garden!  While cows grow up with stories about the Dairy Fairy and human children have probably heard of the Tooth Fairy, when is the last time you used your creativity to create a whimsical fairy garden?

The Great Outdoors hosts a Fairy Garden workshop one Saturday a month this summer.  Lucky for you, the next Fairy Garden workshop is this Saturday, June 1.  Kids of all ages can participate, but there are two sessions for the different age groups.  Little ones under 11 years old can take part in the 10AM session, while kids 12 and older can attend the 2PM session.  The Great Outdoors will provide all the materials your child needs to create a fairy garden including: a planter, plants, soil, a large accessory (such as a fairy arbor), and a small accessory (such as a fairy or gnome).

Take the opportunity to enjoy The Great Outdoors, beautiful flowers and scenery in June before the higher temperatures of July and August hit!  For more information: http://gonursery.com/pages/68-fairy-garden-workshop
