Andre and Brandon were absolutely awesome! They arrived when I expected, and let me know when they were on their way. They were very polite, professional, respectful, and very careful with my furniture. The move took longer than I expected, but I was happy… to pay for the excellent service! I asked them to do a lot of little piddling stuff, and they were happy to oblige. They did everything that I asked of them without complaint or attitude. I absolutely hate moving, but they made it bearable. I hope I never have to move again, but if I do, I will definitely call Square Cow Moovers! As a moving company, your greatest asset is your employees.As a side note, I bought them breakfast and lunch, and made sure that they were well hydrated throughout the day. We have moved about 10 times during our marriage & Square Cow was by far the friendliest & cheeriest. It took the 4 men 12 hours & 2 trucks to… get us moved. Yesterday Xavier, Ben and Chris came to move our household. They called early to confirm all was on schedule for us, they arrived right on time and they hustled! We were originally estimated that our move would take 4-6 hours. These guys had it done start to… finish in 3 hours and 45 minutes! Nothing was damaged, everything was carefully wrapped and transported. All 3 gentlemen were friendly, engaged with our children and we’re great communicators. No job is too small for Square Cow Movers! We hired them to unload my brother’s UHUAL who moved from AZ to TX. We agreed on a two hour contract. The movers were about 30 minutes late due to road blocks, but they still moved boxes for 2 hours and not 1.5… hours. They actually stayed an extra 20-30 minutes to just finish the job and clean up so my brother won’t have to break his back. I am very impressed with the customer service and they didn’t try to add any fee on top of the amount that was agreed. I really want to say THANK YOU, Rick and Ricardo for taking care of my brother (didn’t just leave him after the time is up) and made his move to his apt so pleasant. These guys know customer service! I called yesterday due to being in a pinch with a last minute move of some heavy electronics. The gentleman that took my call was awesome and said not to worry at all. They could meet my needs. You always get a little leery… about those comments, but I was super happy that they came through. Not only that, I asked for a wooden pallet if possible and they threw one in the truck for me to load my stuff onto. They wrapped my stuff up very secure before ever moving it, and once it arrived the new location, took extra care to ensure it was placed where it was needed. HIGHLY RECOMMEND the TEAM at Square Cow! Chris and Chase did an excellent job helping us move some very large, fragile, and sentimental pieces of furniture. There were two large china cabinets in multiple pieces, two large grandfather clocks, and a few other items. They packed everything very… carefully, moved it gently, and then unpacked it with care. I hired Square Cow Moovers to move my family and I’m glad we did! Working with Todd was great, he was friendly, professional, concise and answered all my questions. The team that was sent to my house (Jared, Seth, and Clyde) were phenomenal!!! Anything and… everything I asked them to do was replied with a ‘yessir’ or ‘we can do that’ or ‘my pleasure’. They wrapped the move out and move in house with furniture blankets to protect the house, they wrapped all my furniture with care, not a single item was dinged or scratched in the move, and they moved FAST! I was worried that since I was paying an hourly rate that they would work but not blazing fast but these guys were a blur. I did do a lot of prep (prep work is key, most of my stuff they just picked up and loaded on the truck) and moved probably half the stuff I had on my own in the days leading to the move but they were done faster than I had even planned on them finishing. I used Square Cow Movers in the beginning of June to move from one apartment to another within the same complex. From the get go I was very impressed with their attention to detail when it came to filling out the info to get a quote online. They reached out… to me immediately about my move and what they could do for me. After looking into a handful of moving companies, Square Cow Movers has the lowest rate. Leading up to the move I was contacted to confirm the time and location which was reassuring. The day of the move, the movers arrived on time and ready to get things going. They were quick and diligent, very professional. They laid down a mat to protect the flooring from the heavy traffic. All of my furniture was wrapped with moving blankets followed by moving tape. I was moving from up stairs into another upstairs and not once did any of the team member mention how hard the work was. They were very respectful to each other and to myself. After they loaded the truck we went to the new apartment and the unloading was a breeze. They placed the furniture exactly where I wanted it and had no problems making adjustments as other pieces came in. The lead mover was very informative with each document I was to sign, explained everything to me and answered all of my questions. We used Square Cow this past week for an across-town move. We had a team of three guys come, and it took around seven hours from the time they left to come to our original house, until they left our new home. They were friendly and polite to us throughout… the process, taking time to ask questions about particular items, clarify directions we gave, and explain what they were doing along the way. They protected doorways and stair railings and the furniture items themselves. They all seemed to get along great and have fun working together, which made the whole day seem a lot nicer. Really appreciated the Square Cow team. Getting a quote and setting up an appointment was very easy. Mostly the usual questions for a local move but got all of the pertinent information. The quote process took about 10 minutes. Once the quote was processed… and we had made our decision scheduling our move about an hour later only took about 5 minutes.The moving team (Moses, Scott and Josh) were awesome. They called about 30 minute before arrival. Through the unload process (out of a storage unit) the brought up any oddities right away. We had some knicks on some hand me down furniture that they brought to our attention as soon as they saw them. (Clearly preventing them of any liability, but appreciated the attention to these details.) They also brought up how the company who moved us into the storage unit may have mishandled or stored objects inappropriately. Luckily, our LCD TV survived a year on it’s side. Throughout the process they continually asked if they were doing ok and meeting expectations.The unloading process was just as smooth. Again, the team was asking questions as to where things should go and if they could help in any way.For unloading a 10×20 storage unit into a single family home with about a 20 minute drive time they took about 3 hours, but I never felt like the were milking the clock. We have used Square Cow Movers DFW twice since moving to Texas. Both times we had a pleasant, professional, and issue-free experience with them. For our most recent move in July, we had the amazing team consisting of XAVIS, SAXON, and ANTHONY. If they allow… you to request certain movers, request this team of guys. They are big strong men who took care of our belongings as if they were moving their own. The team worked hard in the 100 degree heat, never once complaining or slowing down. We had a great experience, they made it fun, and we even had quite the debate over who was the greatest, LeBron or Jordan. (I vote Jordan!!) Also the communication with John Dowdy, the branch manager, was seamless. He was responsive and took care of our every need. Jesus and Brandon were amazing! I don’t even know where to begin. We have hired three different companies for moving in the past six months and I wish we would have found them first. They were so polite and outgoing May friendly to my kids, which any mom can appreciate. Hiring a moving company is a major hit or miss now a days, so do yourself a favor, skip the rest and yourself a favor and go straight to Square Cow in Cedar Park. We needed two trucks worth to move an entire house and a storage unit. With 5 workers on board :… Robert, Don, Big Ben, Courtney and Dante, Made the day worth conquering. Starting at 8am, everything was done by 3:30pm. We’re talking they not only moved literally everything, they wrapped up the couches, they wrapped up the book cases and so much more but then they unloaded it all exactly where it all needed to be! I moved last week and overall, it was a very good experience. They were one of the only moving companies that actually came out and visibly inspected the home furnishings. All others gave a quote based on size of house and I have been burned by that in the… past. Thanks, Rebecca! She was great, and also very helpful w all my questions and concerns.Packing day saw Ben and Chris show up. They were polite, friendly and efficient. The next day was moving day. The same two showed up w Christian as reinforcements. There was more than they thought would be and there was also going to be two drop offs, my apartment and a storage unit. They then called in Trey as further reinforcement. All four were hard working and solid!We finally had everything packed and first drop off unloaded by 6ish. We got to the second drop at the storage unit around 930 only to find that the storage people had not unlocked my unit. The guys repacked the van w what they had already started unloading and said they would store it as is and would come back the next day to unload. Ben and Chris not only showed up again, but their manager told them to not charge me for the added time!! I would highly recommend the company and their people for moving!read more

We used Square Cow movers for a move from Cedar Park to Plano. First contact was excellent and our visit with the estimator (Rebecca) was very thorough and professional. She even advised that if we moved some outside items ourselves, we could save by using… two trucks versus three. She was spot on. We moved some items ourselves and when the team showed up, we were right at two full trucks! Our team consisted of Jayvion, Trey, Dean, and Jimmy the date of our move. Also I never felt like the guys were being lazy or hiding out in the truck and they never once complained or looked exasperated about having to go up three flights of stairs (I’ve experience that with some other popular moving companies in town!) Jesus and Brandon were amazing! I don’t even know where to begin. We have hired three different companies for moving in the past six months and I wish we would have found them first. They were fast and efficient with everything they did. I had to ask them… to take a break, I think if I hadn’t they would have powered right through the three flights of stairs up and down that we had. They were so polite and outgoing May friendly to my kids, which any mom can appreciate. And when it came to the most important piece I had in my house, my great-great grandmothers hope chest, they weren’t just careful with it, the seemed to really care that the piece was so important to me. So respectful, actually cared about not breaking things or damaging my walls, and really professional. These… movers are truly trained professionals. Other companies say they use real employees, not temps or day laborers, but that doesn’t always mean their movers are well trained. With Square Cow Movers, they worked quickly and actually knew what they were doing. There were some tight squeezes that required JQ, Asaf, and Dupree to think creatively, and they did! Huge shout-out to Allison, as well, for helping me schedule the move and for checking with the operations manager to ensure I reserved the right size crew for moving a giant elliptical from upstairs in one house to upstairs in another. Also impressed that the company sent out 2 managers to the job sight and that this is a normal practice for them. The managers even helped bring the elliptical upstairs when they stopped by, and Square Cow didn’t charge us for that. Can’t sing their praises enough. They capped the driving time I paid for and came in under budget. So not only are you getting quality, you’re also getting a great value! So glad I found them on Angie’s List. Very personable and delivered first class customer care and service, something you don’t get with typical movers (they bring a truck and… don’t care much about anything but loading and unloading). It’s quite obvious Walt and his partners empower their team with a pride in ownership of the job. And here is an example. I have an executive (heavy) office desk that would not fit into the room. Having our move handled by Jacob, Kameron, and Ta’mar was an absolute pleasure. They were actually running a bit late getting to our house due to finishing up a prior move, but these gentlemen kept an open line of communication with me along the way. The Square Cow Moovers (Central Houston Branch) that handled our moove were GREAT! From the initial phone calls with the office Team (Danni Jo) to the Head Moover for our move (Edgar), to the last box … our experience with Square Cow was fantastic. This was… an out-of-town destination move, and the set-pricing was important, as were their very favorable online reviews that we found during our search to find a good company to move our family. This was a tough job – and on days of record heat of 100-degrees and higher. Not once did any of the Moovers complain. Yes, we had plenty of cold Gatorade and water for them, but they earned every bit of it. This involved multiple trucks, and the collective Teams were great. Upon arrival, they placed protective covers on the door frame of our front door that was going to be the entry and exit point during the move, and then did the same, including floor mats, at our destination house. At one point after a couch was loaded, I got the vacuum cleaner to vacuum the rug that the furniture was on. Before I could turn it on, a Team member said “I will take care of that”, and he proceeded to vacuum the carpet, as well as other carpets in the house prior to loading. The Moovers were courteous, quick and efficient at all times. Well done by all! Thank you!read more

At the last minute I was suggested to try Square Cow Movers, I talked to them on Wednesday for a Saturday move but didn’t think they would be available but they were.We had 20 years from our previous home all in two storages (10×25 and a 10×20) while our… new home was being built. They sent two trucks and 5 guys.I called many places and was told the same amount of trucks and crew but the hours ranged from 7 hours to 12.5 hours. Chris G, Cedric, Johnathan, Dion, and Mike S came to work and they worked hard. From start to finish this crew did it all – packed, transferred and unpacked all in 6.75 hours what would have taken us days. Their prices were in the middle range (not the lowest but definitely no where near the highest).My units were not the easiest to do because when packing your entire life there are a lot of things that just can’t go in boxes. When unloading they asked where everything went and made sure it went to the right rooms. We packed it all ourselves so I know how hard it was and I just couldn’t bring myself to unload it because it was so muchWe could not have asked for a better crew.read more

We were initially told that storage was going to end up being only about $80 a month…. Which to my surprise was not the case!!!! This is not the fault of our home packing team!!! My wife and I recently had the pleasure of working with Square Cow Moovers in Cedar Park for our move from our northwest Austin apartment to a new house in Kyle (40 minutes south). We selected them because they had great reviews (here’s another one to add to… the pile!), I had seen their trucks move other folks in and out of our apartment complex a few times, they were the only ones to quote us a three-men crew at a reasonable price (which meant the move would be faster) and, well, who am I kidding – you can’t beat that name LOL! :DOn moving day (March 27, 2021), the very professional and courteous crew that was assigned to us showed up right on time and called beforehand to advise of their arrival (much appreciated as my wife and I were in the process of loading our cars as well). Jayvion, Christian and Demontre were all extremely courteous, friendly and just all-around-great to work with at every step. All of our possessions were carefully handled and we were downright impressed with the speed at which they worked (particularly during unloading). Once we got to our new house, they showed up a few minutes after we did and immediately proceeded to unload the truck with the same courtesy, friendliness and professionalism they had demonstrated when loading. When they were done, we inspected everything, saw that our furniture was still in good shape and sent them on their way back. Square Cow moved everything out of our old house and delivered it to our new house one city over. This was an 1800 square foot house with piano, hot tub, and a whole lot of books and bookcases.

My wife and I are fairly new to the area and did a short distance move from our current house to a new one. I contacted Square Cow Movers received a quote on Monday but unable to schedule until Friday evening due to some unknowns. I called the Number and the… woman who answered the phone was able to pull up my information quickly and went above and beyond to schedule a crew for the next morning even though we told her we could wait till the following week if it would be easier for them. The crew contacted me at the precise time they were scheduled for. When they arrived the three men who arrived were very friendly and professional. Eric took time to review exactly what I wanted done and addressed all of my concerns before starting work. Once the crew got started they expertly protected our belongings and carefully packed them into the moving truck. All of the while communicating with is about any concerns we may have. The unloading process when even smoother and they showed the utmost respect for our house and belongings. Todd and Joe were still in training but still show extra professionalism. They moved the furniture ofa 3 bedroom 2 bath house and had it unloaded in perfect condition in under 4 hours. He really helped us get everything secure for the drive and did a great job getting SO much in the truck. We had 20 years from our previous home… all in two storages (10×25 and a 10×20) while our new home was being built. They sent two trucks and 5 guys.
I called many places and was told the same amount of trucks and crew but the hours ranged from 7 hours to 12.5 hours. Chris G, Cedric, Johnathan, Dion, and Mike S came to work and they worked hard. From start to finish this crew did it all – packed, transferred and unpacked all in 6.75 hours what would have taken us days. Their prices were in the middle range (not the lowest but definitely no where near the highest).
My units were not the easiest to do because when packing your entire life there are a lot of things that just can’t go in boxes. When unloading they asked where everything went and made sure it went to the right rooms. We packed it all ourselves so I know how hard it was and I just couldn’t bring myself to unload it because it was so much

I originally gave a 1 star review as one of the moving trucks blocked our place of business during a move the other day for a few hours.
I reported it to the management of Square Cow as the actual employees responsible for the move were not helpful with… our issue.
Since then, I received a call from the operations manager, and we were all surprised today at our clinic by the Operations Manager taking the time to come in to our place of business with a hand written apology note, Starbucks gift cards for our entire staff, and a box of Christmas candy.

I reported it to the management of Square Cow as the actual employees responsible for the move were not helpful with… our issue.
Since then, I received a call from the operations manager, and we were all surprised today at our clinic by the Operations Manager taking the time to come in to our place of business with a hand written apology note, Starbucks gift cards for our entire staff, and a box of Christmas candy.

Square Cow Movers definitely exceeded our expectations from start to finish. Colby called us within a few hours of filling out the online form to discuss the details of our move and immediately sent a quote. We had one adjustment we wanted to make and he was… more than willing to change it to what we wanted. The morning of the move, we got a call at 8 am that the drivers got stuck in traffic and that they might be a little late (they were not scheduled to be at our house until 8:30 so I appreciated the courtesy call) At first I was concerned because of other bad experiences in the past with people showing up late and we only had a few hours to be out of our house. They apologized and seemed genuinely upset about the possibility of being late, even offering to send me a screen shot of the traffic map where they were stuck behind an accident. We understood those things are sometimes out of our control – and in the end they ended up showing up a few minutes before 8:30 anyway so it was great!Anthony and Stephen were our movers. From the second they appeared at our doorstep you could tell how professional they were. They took the time to walk through our house to make sure they understood what we needed moved. They spent a ton of time laying down blankets, covering areas in our home that I would have never even thought of to protect it from damage. Each piece of furniture was completely wrapped up in blankets/wrap and were carefully loaded into the truck (and at the same time they were hustling and definitely not going too slow!) We had a lot of large furniture (bed sets, dressers, mattresses, heavy entertainment center, large sectional, fridge, dining sets and large flat screen TV’s) etc. When they arrived to our new house, they were equally as careful which was important to us because we have brand new hardwood floors, etc that we were worried about. They laid down material to protect the floors and railings and then took a tour to ask us where we wanted each piece of furniture. I was able to start unpacking boxes while they unloaded our furniture and if they had any questions about where to put things they were very polite and even adjusted a few items that I wanted moved.We could not be more impressed with this company and would recommend them to anyone. Moving is very stressful and it was such a relief to know that we were in good hands. They spent a total of 6 hours with us, moving a ton of items and we didn’t have one scratch or any damage anywhere. We knew they were awesome, but it wasn’t until a few days later when we realized just how much. We had a new bed set delivered from a local large furniture company (king headboard, 2 nightstands and a dresser was it) and within 5 minutes the furniture company put 3 gashes into our new walls and railings with no apology. My husband and I were obviously upset and wondering how is was that this furniture company caused so much damage in such a short time with such few items and Square Cow Movers pulled off moving an entire home with not one issue! I think that speaks volumes as to how great this company is. This is probably the longest review I have ever written, but they deserve it!read more

I recently received their services October 18th 2019. Removing crammed items in a storage unit was no easy task. They were ontime, called in advance to let me know they were in route and arrival. They worked very fast to get everything in the truck. Not… everything was neatly packed so I know it wasn’t easy. They unloaded at the new apartment just as fast. They even offered to throw away an old mattress in a cover that has been sitting in there for three years. I got a new one, but managing all this alone would have been impossible.
