Christmas is less than a week away, are you in the holiday spirit yet? If you have already decorated the Christmas tree, looked at all the holiday lights, visited Santa and gone ice skating, then you still need to decorate a gingerbread house! You probably haven’t visited Mrs. Claus yet either, this Saturday mark both of these activities off your list at the Woodlands Children’s Museum. Mrs. Claus’ Gingerbread House Workshop is back this year by popular demand. On December 22 from 11 AM – 4 PM you can bring your children to the Woodlands Children’s Museum, where they can decorate a gingerbread house with Mrs. Claus. Leona Hoegsberg, a local well-known storyteller, will also be on site to share Christmas stories with the little ones. If you are member of the Museum, the cost of this workshop is only $5 and includes materials. Non-members pay the regular $5 admission and $5 for the workshop with materials included as well. This is a great Saturday activity for a family, while your spouse finishes the shopping, shipping, and present-wrapping, you can keep the kiddos occupied with a fun holiday craft.
