Getting Around Mockingbird
One of the best things about moving to Mockingbird is the easy access and transportation options. There’s the Mockingbird pedestrian bridge that extends from Mockingbird Station to the Highland Dallas Hotel. The pedestrian bridge connects into the Katy Trail, which takes you all the way to downtown Dallas. It’s a great option for cyclist. And as mentioned above, there’s also a DART stop at Mockingbird Station.
Getting From Downtown Dallas to Mockingbird Ln
Even with rush hour traffic is will take less than 20 minutes to go from downtown Dallas to Mockingbird. Here’s the quickest route:
- Take Elm St West to I-35E
- Go north on I-35E
- Take exit 429C to merge onto Dallas North Tollway N
- Go about 3 miles and you’ll reach the Mockingbird Ln exit
Getting From DFW Airport to Dallas Love Field Airport
Frequent flyers will appreciate that Mockingbird is extremely close to Dallas Love Field Airport and not far from DFW Airport. If you have to travel between the two here’s the best route to go from DFW to Dallas Love Field:
- Go north on International Pkwy
- Stay right to merge onto TX-114 E/John W. Carpenter Fwy
- Continue on TX-183 E
- Take the exit to Mockingbird Ln
- Turn left on W Mockingbird Ln
- Turn left on Herb Kelleher Way and keep going until you reach the airport
