This is simply a post to remind everyone to take a deep breath. If you are reading this, then you are probably mooving, or you just really like us. 🙂 Either way, this is good advice from the folks who see this every single day. You are embarking on a new adventure. Your life is changing, and your daily environment will be shifting – yes, even if you are just mooving down the street.
Relax. Take 30 minutes to put down the packaging tape, collect your family (if they are there) and go get some ice cream. Better yet, go for a nice walk. Recognize the good things that happened to you in your soon to be old neighborhood, but don’t let them weigh you down. A good friend once said to us that life is like a river. It flows and changes and it’s no fun trying to fight the current.
I guess what we are trying to get at is that mooving is an experience. Don’t look bad on this time as a bad memory because you were running around like a chicken with its head cut off. Don’t do it by yourself either. When you are packing up a room, do it with a partner, someone you can laugh and joke with while you work. Draw goofy pictures on your boxes with that oversized sharpie you bought.
If you are getting tired and stressed, give us a call. We will cheer you up! 🙂 During business hours of course.
