Fiesta Universal 2013

What is a cow’s favorite kind of festival? A moo-sical one! The Montgomery County Hispanic Chamber is hosting the tenth annual Fiesta Universal this Friday, May 3 at Waterway Square. This event will include beautiful sights, flavors and sounds of the Latin and Hispanic cultures.

Fiesta Universal grew from a humble gathering with a small crowd in the early 2000s to one of the largest and most popular cultural events in Montgomery County. This will be the second year Fiesta Universal will be held at The Woodlands Waterway Square. Past live entertainment has included: Mango Punch and Mariachi, the Chikawa Aztec Dancers and a live Zumba demonstration.

Admission to this event is free, but wrist bands for food and drink are $20. The wrist bands enable the wearer to sample foods from different vendors and includes two adult beverages. Funds from this event help to provide scholarships for students of Montgomery County, to date $48,000 in scholarships have been awarded. Music, food, drinks, dancing and kids activities will commence at 5:30PM and last until 9:30PM.
