Squarecow moovers are the greatest! We contracted with a Van Line outfit but on moving day, they claimed delays and had no answer as to when they would get to us, unacceptable! I contacted Squarecow and manager Kevin took care of us. He sent Paul, Zack… and Fletcher to us the next day for an out of state move. Those three worked tirelessly packing up and showed up at our new home right behind us. They placed all our items where we wanted them, a couple items more than once ;), all with the most helpful, cheerful attitudes (really, how can you travel 1200 miles and then unpack 2 trucks working til 11 at night and still be considerate? Paul, Zack and Fletcher are the ultimate professionals! We cannot be more impressed with their efforts. We have moved many times and this one was by far the best! I chose (for an elderly friend) Square Cow for a complex move from U-haul storage in Austin to storage near Dallas. Their fixed-price policy ultimately saved her a lot of money compared to the other bids (reasons below).Square Cow handled many hundreds of… old boxes and delicate multi-generational items (including a piano) with great care. Items were packed in new boxes only as needed. The packing crew, headed by Robert with Julio and Tyrone, finished well ahead of their own estimate. Prize to Tyrone for carefully packing those two valuable, delicate items. We were watching!The loading and delivery crew (Paul and Deandre) were complete pros. Square Cow’s original estimate included the possibility of needing two trucks for this move. However, Paul and Deandre were able to load the boxes, furniture and other items such that they (barely) fit onto a single truck. THIS SAVED MY FRIEND THOUSANDS (both bids from the other companies required two trucks). At delivery Paul and Deandre took 5 hours (included in the fixed price) to carefully unload the truck into two large storage units. They created a storage scheme on the spot that maximized access to the items stored.Nothing was broken. The elderly lady who owned these items was very, VERY worried about this move, and both teams patiently helped her get through the process, allaying her concerns. Every man on each crew introduced themselves to us and were very friendly throughout. She generously tipped the crews after each crew completed their assignment.On the phone Shaun answered all my questions across several calls.Kevin captained and helped both crews in Austin without charging us for his labor, including refusing a tip. His management led to a friction-free experience. He provided the kind of customer interface any company would kill for. He even took a minute to help another old man at the Austin U-haul who was struggling to lift a heavy filing cabinet onto his pickup. The world needs more like him.Eleven stars…read more

We had a team of three guys come, and it took around seven hours from the time they left to come to our original house, until they left our new home. They were friendly and polite to us throughout… the process, taking time to ask questions about particular items, clarify directions we gave, and explain what they were doing along the way. They protected doorways and stair railings and the furniture items themselves. They all seemed to get along great and have fun working together, which made the whole day seem a lot nicer. My group came from the Spring location.
At the last minute I was suggested to try Square Cow Movers, I talked to them on Wednesday for a Saturday move but didn’t think they would be available but they were.
We had 20 years from our previous home… all in two storages (10×25 and a 10×20) while our new home was being built. They sent two trucks and 5 guys.
I called many places and was told the same amount of trucks and crew but the hours ranged from 7 hours to 12.5 hours. Chris G, Cedric, Johnathan, Dion, and Mike S came to work and they worked hard. From start to finish this crew did it all – packed, transferred and unpacked all in 6.75 hours what would have taken us days. Their prices were in the middle range (not the lowest but definitely no where near the highest).
My units were not the easiest to do because when packing your entire life there are a lot of things that just can’t go in boxes. When unloading they asked where everything went and made sure it went to the right rooms. We packed it all ourselves so I know how hard it was and I just couldn’t bring myself to unload it because it was so much

I originally gave a 1 star review as one of the moving trucks blocked our place of business during a move the other day for a few hours.
I reported it to the management of Square Cow as the actual employees responsible for the move were not helpful with… our issue.
Since then, I received a call from the operations manager, and we were all surprised today at our clinic by the Operations Manager taking the time to come in to our place of business with a hand written apology note, Starbucks gift cards for our entire staff, and a box of Christmas candy.

We needed a mover at the last minute, a few days before Christmas. I found Square Cow Moovers through Google, and submitted a request for an estimate.
Andrew… contacted me within the hour after the submission. (A+++) He was courteous, professional, and worked everything out for us to have the move scheduled. Josephine and Jarvis were the fantastic crew that did the move for us. (Also A+++) They arrived when they were supposed to be there, worked quickly getting the items loaded, and getting them to us. Once they arrived to unload, they were so polite, professional, and personable! Very enjoyable to have them here to provide wonderful service. An aside: Jarvis found our debit card in the yard, where my husband had lost it. That was such a blessing! Thank you, Andrew, Josephine, and Jarvis! These guys are terrific! I needed to move a large glass top table and chairs. The truck arrived on time and the movers were friendly, courteous, and professional. Used them to have belongings moved to two different storage units. They called that they were en route and would be there in about 50 minutes. Arrived and after showing what I would like done, they went right to work. Robert Harris and Melvin Haywood were… the two gentleman and they worked fast but careful. They did not stand around and both worked on different tasks which made everything get completed faster. They were very polite and double and triple checked that everything was done and done right. Would recommend them in a second.read more
Good movers. Always bring two trucks at no extra charge. Lift everything, never drag across floor. No scratches on floor and minimal dings on walls that can be fixed with a little paint. Strong guys who work well together. Quick and thorough. Will use again.
I have moved quite a bit with my job. My parents used Square Cow movers and recommended them. So glad they did. I have never had such a great experience. The guys were professional from start to finish. Polite and clean-really took extra care with my house… and the furniture. They even asked if I needed help setting things up like my bed. I’ve used SCM multiple times over the years, and they even moved my mother’s office contents to her home office during the pandemic. My latest move happened in the beginning of May, 2025, and they were as respectful, professional, and consistent as I… remember. My complex is upgrading my apartment to their latest style and appliances, so I had to move. James and his crew took very good care of my things with reassurances of taking extra care of my most important items, letting me know that I had nothing to worry about. They did an amazing job. I’m so happy with this company, and in particular James and his crew, that I’m hiring them once again to reverse the process to help me move back in four weeks later. While I hope to not move again for some time, I will refer anyone I know to SCM for their moving needs … they really do get it, and they just do it well!read more

No job is too small for Square Cow Movers! We hired them to unload my brother’s UHUAL who moved from AZ to TX. We agreed on a two hour contract. The movers were about 30 minutes late due to road blocks, but they still moved boxes for 2 hours and not 1.5… hours. They actually stayed an extra 20-30 minutes to just finish the job and clean up so my brother won’t have to break his back. I am very impressed with the customer service and they didn’t try to add any fee on top of the amount that was agreed. Came through when we were in a pinch! We thought we’d be able to handle the move since it was just funiture but had a hard time moving the bigger pieces into the truck. So we called Square Movers South Austin at 5pm to ask them to unload our truck the next… morning! Thankful they had later operating hours that allowed us to book them, deposit free! Even at the last minute.The two guys who showed up were friendly and hard-working! Unloaded our truck in good time and helped us put the bed together as well at no extra cost. We were the “second job” of the day where they say then can come anywhere from 10am-8pm depending when the morning job finishes and they were ready for us at 10:30, worked out great!read more

We moved with Square Cow today and we were so impressed with our experience. I wish I remembered the names of our two movers because they did a really great job- everything was moved quickly and carefully. We moved out of a large 1 bedroom apartment and into… our house in just over 3 hours (25 min apart), which ran us a bit over $500. The service price was still one of the lowest we were quoted, and the quality reviews about service were completely correct. Square Cow moved everything out of our old house and delivered it to our new house one city over. This was an 1800 square foot house with piano, hot tub, and a whole lot of books and bookcases.
They arrived promptly with a energetic, friendly crew… who all introduced themselves and were very polite throughout. Anthony (the team lead), Stephen, Brandon, Spencer, and Collin were all hard-working, friendly, and careful with our items.
We were very impressed with the thorough care that they took of our items, delivering fragile items with no damage and great respect. They came prepared to wrap and blanket everything, loaded carefully, and communicated well throughout. During the delivery, they worked with us to make sure everything ended up in the correct room and the right place.
I was worried about hiring movers, as I’ve had some bad experiences before with movers who were surly, not careful, or could barely communicate– but Square Cow changed my attitude on that; they were great!read more

We moved on April 7th 2018. Our appointment time was set between 4 pm and 8 pm for the move.
Not only were the driver able to come 30 minutes early but Eddy, Sebastian, and Colby were absolutely professional in their work. Very humorous while working.… Seemed to love their job. Each mover was very polite and careful when moving furniture into the truck and into our new apartment.
Reason for choosing Square Cow Movers was 75% based on price. 25% based on customer service when calling about information and getting a quote. I don’t remember the name of the girl who gave me the information but she was very delightful. Also very humorous when she found out the the address we were moving from was literally right down the road from where the lot was on South Manchaca Rd.
