Circle C: Homes for Every Type of Family
Circle C development began in the late 1980s and continues today in this popular collection of 19 neighborhoods. If you somehow can’t find the perfect home among the 5,000 that are already built there are still buildable sites, including spaces in the new gated Circle C Hillside Estates neighborhood.
Living in Circle C comes with a lot of convenience. It’s close to both downtown and the lakes, but there’s also a shopping center, H-E-B and plenty of restaurants. You don’t have to go far for daily essentials or entertainment.
There are also a few schools within the community. The schools that serve Circle C Ranch are among the best performing educational facilities in the Austin Independent School District (AISD). The elementary schools include the top-rated Clayton Elementary and Kiker Elementary.
Outdoor Activities & Amenities in Circle C
Circle C Ranch is aptly named. It has a rustic feel, and one of the defining features is its canopy of trees. The community was designed to feel as if it were tucked into the hillsides. Environmental protections preserve the natural beauty and prevent overdevelopment, which means there are lots of outdoor things to do in Circle C.
Circle C Ranch Metropolitan Park
Circle C Ranch Metropolitan Park is a massive greenspace and a sports lover’s paradise. You can play volleyball, basketball, soccer and disc golf. There are also playscapes for the kids and nearly six miles of trails to explore.
Circle C Community Center Pool
The swim center with its resort-worthy pool is a main attraction. It’s also the only Olympic-sized swim center in Austin. Residents can take a dip in the pool every day except Tuesday when it’s closed for maintenance.
Direct access to the Veloway is also possible from within Circle C. It’s a 3-mile paved circuit that many of the area’s bikers use for training. You’ll also see people rollerblading, walking and jogging the wooded path.
Circle C Golf Club
Circle C is among the few Austin communities with a golf club in the neighborhood. The Circle C Golf Club is a public 18-hole course.
Circle C Grey Rock Tennis Club
If tennis is your sport of choice you’ll love being a member of the Circle C Grey Rock Tennis Club. It’s a private club with eight courts and additional amenities.

Getting to Downtown Austin
Residents of Circle C enjoy a short 15 to 20-minute commute to downtown Austin. It’s one of the perks that puts Circle C at the top of people’s neighborhood list. MoPac is just east of the community and provides easy access. Just head north on MoPac until you hit the Cesar Chavez exit to get to downtown.
