We have all heard the phrase “Everything is bigger in Texas”. This saying holds true especially in one of the surrounding communities of the biggest city in the state. The Woodlands community celebrates Christmas, one of the most major holidays of the year, in a big way! The Woodlands Winter Wonderland is a spectacular light display that you can walk through and feel as if you have been transported to a magical fantasyland. Scenes from the Winter Wonderland include snowmen, lighted toy soldiers, elves, doves and musical angels. This display is up from dusk until 11 PM nightly from November 17 through January 21. The Winter Wonderland is open to the public and admission is free! If you want to do more than just enjoy pretty holiday-themed decorations, you can donate a non-perishable food item to benefit Interfaith of The Woodlands Holiday Food Drive. Celebrate the season of light through giving, even if it is just a small food item. The Winter Wonderland event is sponsored by Donoho’s Jewelry, so food items can be dropped off at the Donoho’s Jewelry store. By donating a non-perishable food item, you will also receive $2 off coupon to the ice rink located next to the Winter Wonderland.
