October 31 doesn’t always fall on the most convenient day of the week.  This year Halloween falls on a Wednesday.  After a full day at school or work you have a limited amount of time to take your kids out Trick-or-Treating.  As winter approaches, the days get shorter, leaving you with less daylight.  If your family has a busy work or school week, you may prefer to celebrate Halloween on the weekend.  Luckily there are plenty of weekend Halloween festivities that you and your family can participate in.  If you live in The Woodlands area, then you will want to check out the Trick or Treat Trail! This Sunday, October 28, the whole family can enjoy Halloween activities at the Town Green Park.  This event will occur from 3-6 PM, so you don’t have to worry about your kids Trick-or-Treating in the dark.  Kids can collect candy and goodies from over thirty local vendor booths along the trail.  Sponsors for this event include: Jaguar Land Rover Houston North, BBVA Compass, The Woodlands Development Company, State Farm Insurance – Kyle Sherburne, Prestigious Event Rentals, The Woodlands Young Learners Academy, St. Lukes The Woodlands Hospital, Waste Management and Kidnnected Magazine.  There will also be a costume contest and a People’s Choice Award for Best Vendor Booth.  For more information: http://www.thewoodlandscvb.com/pages/TWCVBEvents/TrickorTreatTrail/tabid/147/Default.aspx
