The Austin Influential Group is hosting the Secret Society Ball at the Swan Dive on February 14. Designed to evoke the spirit of the 1920s the Secret Society Ball has a Great Gatsby feel that will have you and your partner dancing the Charleston. The themes for the evening are decadence, opulence and romance.
Entertainment for the evening will include glamorous burlesque and cabaret performances and swinging prohibition era music provided by the Violet Crown Serenaders with vocals by jazz artist Mandy Lauderdale. The venue will be decorated with clusters of white roses nestled in silver vases. You will want to dress to impress for the Secret Society Ball, it’s time to bust out your dapper duds! Black tie for the fellas and sleek chic gowns for the ladies are in order.
You don’t have to know a password or a secret handshake to enter, just pay the admission. To add some extra aww to your evening, this event benefits the popular non-profit, Austin Pets Alive.
