There is an age-old moving tradition that involves the sacred consumables of pizza and beer.  According to lore dating back to the 12th Century “one friend who helpeth another moveth deserveth pizza and beer”.  Okay so maybe we made that part up, but certainly you have heard about this tradition.  As professional movers of the Square Cow variety, we have to admit that we prefer a nice, fresh Bermudagrass, though there is something about an aged St. Augustine cud.  Regardless, you will probably want to celebrate your move to Austin (one of the best cities ever) with beer!

The 2013 Austin Speciality Beer Festival is happening this Saturday, February 23.  Austin has been gaining a reputation for producing some quality brews, you will find both award winning and international and local beers at this event.  You will have the opportunity to taste everything from Ales to IPAs and Lagers.  Set in the Fiesta Gardens, you couldn’t ask for better weather on a February Saturday to sample beers all day long.  The festival occurs from 12PM to 10PM.  While no one under 21 is admitted, you will still be helping out local kids because the festival benefits the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Austin Area.  For more information: http://www.austinspecialtybeerfestival.com/
